Everything under control

Xtend is a modular system, and thus expandable: from simple glue pattern controllers to integrated quality monitoring systems. Since gluing usually comes at the end of the process, Baumer hhs systems also monitor other criteria at the same time. Modules for code reading and glue monitoring, logging and the ejection of defective products ensure faultless production.

The control system combines glue application with glue monitoring and is equipped with a two-step error warning system:

The first step is a visual alarm when glue is applied incorrectly, and can be followed by a feeder stop, ejection or marking of the defective product.
